‘MTV’s ‘The Vibe’ Gets Another Renewal: ‘A Different Kind of Love’

MTV News (February 8, 2020) has learned that the third season of The Vibe, currently airing in Canada, is in final production.

The series was created by Rob McElhenney and Michael Kwan and stars Rachel Brosnahan as Emily and Josh Lucas as John, a married couple in a modern-day New York.

The show is written by McElhinney and Lucas and was created for MTV in partnership with The Wachowskis, as well as Lionsgate, The Asylum and Lionsgate TV.

Season 3 will premiere on February 23, 2021.

According to a casting call sent to MTV News by the Wachowski siblings, Emily and John will not be returning for season 3.

“The Vibrant” is currently the highest rated series on MTV, averaging more than 1.6 million viewers per episode.

The Vibrants’ success has allowed McElhone and Lucas to expand their television properties, including “Catch Me If You Can,” which has had a total of 11 episodes.

“MTV The Vibes” airs Fridays at 10 p.m. ET on MTV.
